Foundation of "Hellenic Tao"          ÓÅËÉÄÁ ÓÔÁ ÅËËÇÍÉÊÁ

Hellenic Tao was founded by Mr. Yannis Sampsonidis in 2002.

Yannis Sampsonidis was born in Thessaloniki in 1968.

 

From 1991 to 1999 he had been studying eastern healing arts 

in the Greek Healing Tao Center following

Master Mantak Chia's famous International Healing Tao system 

(later renamed as Universal Tao)

 

In 1999 Yannis Sampsonidis received his first certificate,

qualifying him to instruct on the Tai Chi Chuan, Iron Shirt Qi Gong and on

the Microcosmic Orbit Meditation of the Universal Tao system. 

 

During and mostly after that time he also studied under:

Master Chen Xiao Wang - Chen Tai Chi Chuan

Master Wang Ting Yun - Medical Qi Gong for the spine

Master Wen Mei Yu (photo on the right) - Soaring Crane Qi Gong

Master Alex Dong - Yang Tai Chi Chuan

Hua Xiang Su - Yang Tai Chi Chuan

Dr. Gaspar Garcia - 8 Jewels Qi Gong

Dr. Ho - Traditional Chinese Medicine & Ear Acupuncture

Dr. George Pappas - Tai Chi Qi Gong & Daoist Meditation

Sifu Spyros Papadimas - Tung's Family Yang style San Shou

Dr. Haris Mihalitsianos - Internal Healing

Dr. George Aggelinakis - Bioenergy Balancing

Since 1999 he has conducted 21 seminars as well as many weeks of alternative vacation for greeks and foreigners. 

In 2002 he founded Hellenic Tao.

Today he shares his knowledge and experience by teaching in "AION", one of Athens' finest centers for alternative activities.

He has studied Civil Engineering as well as Photography and Journalism.
